Super League returns 16-18 October: unbeaten JDT visit Terengganu, Selangor host Penang, Kuching go to DPMM
Malaysia's top flight resumes after a month-long break with matchday five from 16 to 18 October. Here are the fixtures, Malaysia kick-off times, venues and the table.
The Malaysia Super League returns from a month-long break this weekend, with matchday five of the 2026/27 season spread from Friday, 16 October, to Sunday, 18 October. Leaders Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), who have won all five league games so far, travel to Terengganu on Sunday night. Selangor and Kuching City, both on 12 points, also play, and Kelantan Red Warrior begin the round still searching for their first point.
Why the league has been on hold
The last full round of league matches, matchday four, was played from 11 to 13 September. Since then, the domestic calendar has been taken up by international football, including Harimau Malaya's run to third place at the FIFA ASEAN Cup, as well as the FA Cup quarter-finals and continental club games. JDT, Selangor, Kuching City and DPMM have all reached the FA Cup semi-finals, which are still to be played.

JDT's trip to Gong Badak
JDT top the table with 15 points from five matches and a goal difference of +25. The Southern Tigers arrive in good form after a 2-0 win at Pohang Steelers in the AFC Champions League Elite on Tuesday, with Marcos Guilherme scoring both goals.
Terengganu have five points from four games, with one win, two draws and one defeat. They have only lost once, so the match at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium should be a stern test of JDT's perfect record. After this game, JDT's next continental match is at home to Port FC on 27 October.
Chasing pack: Selangor and Kuching City
Selangor have won all four of their league games and sit on 12 points with a goal difference of +10, level on points with Kuching City but with a game in hand. They host Penang, who have four points from four games, at the MBPJ Stadium on Saturday night.
Kuching City have 12 points from five games, with four wins and one defeat. Their trip to Brunei to face DPMM comes at the end of a busy week that also includes AFC Champions League Two duty. DPMM have six points.
At the bottom
Kelantan Red Warrior have lost all five of their league matches, with a goal difference of -20, and host Star City on Friday. Star City have two points from four games, so the opening game of the weekend is a chance for one of the bottom two to gain ground. Melaka, on three points, host Kuala Lumpur City, who have six.
