PGL Singapore Major 2026: all 32 CS2 teams set after 2 November VRS cut-off, The MongolZ in Stage 2

The 32-team field for Southeast Asia's first CS2 Major is set. 100 Thieves and 1win took the last places, and five Asia-Pacific teams will play in Singapore.

The 32-team field for the PGL Singapore Major 2026 was confirmed after Valve's Regional Standings (VRS) cut-off on 2 November. It is the first Counter-Strike 2 Major in Southeast Asia and runs from 24 November to 13 December. The final four days move to the Singapore Indoor Stadium, which holds more than 12,000 spectators. Five Asia-Pacific teams made the field, led by The MongolZ in Stage 2.

The last tickets: 100 Thieves, 1win, Wildcard and Lynn Vision

The final places were settled in the last 48 hours before the cut-off. On 1 November, 100 Thieves beat Wildcard in the grand final of FiRe Last Chance in Buenos Aires to claim the last Stage 1 spot in Europe. 1win beat HOTU 2-0 in the GLuck Moscow Cyber Games final on the same day to take the final European place in Stage 2. Wildcard still made it to Singapore through the Americas places, and Chinese team Lynn Vision took the last Asia-Pacific spot.

Stage-by-stage line-up

Stage 3 (from 2 December): Vitality, MOUZ, Aurora, Team Spirit, BetBoom, Falcons, FURIA, Legacy.

Stage 2 (from 28 November): The MongolZ, G2, FUT, Natus Vincere, Nemiga, Astralis, MIBR, 1win.

Stage 1 (from 24 November): HEROIC, FaZe, M80, BC.Game, Liquid, 9z, Ninjas in Pyjamas, PARIVISION, Eternal Fire, DENDELE, Imperial, Wildcard, FlyQuest, Chinggis Warriors, Lynn Vision, 100 Thieves.

The playoffs start on 10 December, and the grand final is on 13 December. Singapore uses the same time zone as Malaysia (UTC+8), so every match will be on local time for fans here. That includes the arena days at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, a short flight or a long drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Asia-Pacific hopes

The MongolZ have the best seeding of the Asia-Pacific teams. They start in Stage 2, two rounds from the playoffs. FlyQuest from Oceania, Mongolia's Chinggis Warriors and Lynn Vision start in Stage 1, so they have the longest route to the arena. No Malaysian or Singaporean team qualified, so local crowds will probably back the regional sides.

Several of the teams are playing at IEM Beijing this week, and the results there will shape form going into the Major. PARIVISION and HEROIC both start the Major in Stage 1 but have begun IEM Beijing well. PARIVISION secured a playoff place in Beijing on Tuesday.

What is at stake

Teams need three wins in each Swiss stage to advance and are eliminated after three losses. Only eight teams reach the playoffs at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The total prize pool is $1.25 million, and as at every Major, the competition is for the Major trophy.

Eight teams start directly in Stage 3 because of their VRS rankings, including Vitality, MOUZ, FURIA and Falcons. Each of them needs three Swiss wins in Stage 3 to reach the playoffs.
