Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas Missed the Logitech G Play Connect Playoffs in Warsaw

Liquid played the whole group stage without their head coach and one of their riflers, and threw away a ten three lead against EYEBALLERS.

Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas both failed to reach the playoffs of the Logitech G Play Connect, a 100,000 US dollar Counter-Strike 2 event in Warsaw whose group stage finished on 18 September 2026.

Liquid ended the round robin with a 2-3 record. They beat INFINITE 13-8 on Mirage and 3DMAX 13-6 on Nuke, but lost to Inner Circle, to EYEBALLERS in overtime after leading 10-3, and to BBL in their final match.

The American side played without Mario Samayoa, who was absent for personal reasons, and without head coach Viktor Bea, who was at a family wedding. Serbian stand-in Vladan Radevic averaged a rating of 0.96 across five maps.

Ninjas in Pyjamas fared worse, winning only one of five matches. B8 won Group A without dropping a series and Inner Circle topped Group B, both going straight through to the semi-finals, while Luminosity, M80, BBL and 3DMAX filled the quarter-final places.

GamerLegion also missed out, having played without Fredrik Sterner because of food poisoning. The quarter-finals were played as best of three matches on 19 September 2026, with the semi-finals on 22 September and a best of five final on 23 September.
