VCT EMEA Stage 2 Group Stage Wraps Up as Play-Ins Loom

The Group Stage of VCT EMEA Stage 2 2026 has concluded, setting the stage for a crucial Play-Ins round that will determine which teams keep their Champions Shanghai hopes alive. Running from July 16 to August 3, the round-robin group stage featured 12 of the region's top Valorant rosters battling through best-of-three matches for seeding into the Playoffs.

Natus Vincere, Fnatic, Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, Team Liquid, BBL Esports, Team Heretics, GIANTX, FUT Esports, Gentle Mates, Eternal Fire, and PCIFIC Esports all competed through the group phase, with the top performers earning direct byes into the double-elimination Playoffs running from August 20 to 31. The remaining teams now head into Play-Ins from August 5 to 17, a 12-team double-elimination bracket that also includes four EMEA Challengers qualifiers: Enterprise Esports, REBORN, Joblife, and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Only the Stage 2 winner and runner-up will punch their tickets to Champions Shanghai, making every remaining match critical. The prize pool for the stage tops out at $100,000 for first place and $65,000 for the runner-up, with Championship Points on the line that could prove decisive in the race for Champions qualification.

With the Play-Ins bracket stacked and a trip to Champions Shanghai on the line, Playdash's Valorant outright and match-winner markets for VCT EMEA are drawing heavy attention as the region enters its most pivotal stretch of the season.
