The Second Counter-Strike Major of 2026 Lands in Singapore for 32 Teams and 1.25 Million Dollars

PGL takes the year-ending Major to Kallang from 25 November to 13 December, a nineteen-day event that puts a tier-one Counter-Strike final in Southeast Asia and reworks the qualifying grind that leads to it.

The PGL Major Singapore 2026 runs 25 November to 13 December in Kallang, with 32 teams and a 1.25 million dollar prize pool. It is the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2026 and the event that closes the competitive year.

Why Singapore matters

Counter-Strike Majors have historically been a European and North American calendar. Placing the year's final Major in Kallang puts a tier-one final inside the same time zone as Southeast Asia's audience for the first time in this cycle - no 3am finals, and a qualification path that regional teams can realistically plan around.

The format it inherits

The 2026 Major cycle brought two structural changes that carry into Singapore. Valve replaced Train with Anubis in the Active Duty map pool in January, and all Stage 3 matches are now played as best-of-three - the first time a Major has done so. Earlier stages stay best-of-one except for matches that advance or eliminate a team.

Nineteen days is a long event by any standard: three Swiss stages, then an eight-team single-elimination playoff with a best-of-five final.

Getting there

Qualification runs through the autumn circuit - BLAST Open Fall from 26 August, StarLadder StarSeries Fall in September, ESL Pro League Season 24 in Katowice in October and the Thunderpick World Championship - plus regional qualifiers. Team Vitality arrive as the dominant side of the era, with back-to-back Major wins in 2025 and the IEM Cologne Major title this year.

Playdash opens Major outrights, to-reach-playoffs, stage-advancement and group-winner markets as qualification settles, then prices every series through the event with match winner, map handicap, correct score, total rounds and pistol-round markets. In-play pricing runs across all three Swiss stages and the playoff bracket.
