Team Liquid ID Top MPL Indonesia With Six Wins From Seven and Face Fourth-Placed Bigetron by Vitality on Saturday
MPL Indonesia leaders Team Liquid ID, 6-1, meet Bigetron by Vitality on 12 September after Bigetron lost both matches last weekend.
Team Liquid ID lead MPL Indonesia Season 18 as the fifth week begins and meet Bigetron by Vitality on 12 September.
Team Liquid ID are 6-1 in matches and 12-5 in games. Natus Vincere are second at 6-2, and Alter Ego and Bigetron by Vitality are both 5-2, with Alter Ego ahead on game record at 11-4 to Bigetron's 11-7. ONIC and EVOS are both 3-4.
Team Liquid ID's most recent series was a 2-0 win over RRQ Hoshi on 4 September. Bigetron arrive after two defeats, losing 2-1 to EVOS on 5 September and 2-0 to Alter Ego on 6 September. Natus Vincere won both of their matches last week 2-0, against Dewa United on 4 September and RRQ Hoshi on 6 September. Dewa United beat ONIC 2-1 on 5 September.
The week opens on 11 September with EVOS against Dewa United and Geek Fam against ONIC. Team Liquid ID against Bigetron starts the 12 September programme, followed by Alter Ego against RRQ Hoshi and Natus Vincere against EVOS. On 13 September Geek Fam face Team Liquid ID, ONIC play Alter Ego and RRQ Hoshi meet Dewa United.
The nine-team league uses a double round robin followed by playoffs. The prize pool is IDR 4,860,000,000, about US$271,873, with IDR 1,280,000,000 for the champions and IDR 966,000,000 for the runners-up. Both finalists qualify for the M8 World Championship in Turkey.
