Brazilian Initiator cauanzin Left LOUD After Nearly Four Years Days Before Their Valorant Champions Campaign
The 2023 Americas league champion plans to build a new team for 2027 with players who have top-level experience.
Brazilian initiator Cauan "cauanzin" Pereira left LOUD on 16 September 2026 after nearly four years with the club, eight days before the start of Valorant Champions Shanghai, VLR.gg and Valorant4JP reported.
Cauanzin joined LOUD in 2022, after the Brazilian organisation had won the Valorant Champions title that year. With LOUD he finished runner-up at LOCK//IN Sao Paulo in 2023 and won the VCT Americas league the same year, according to VLR.gg.
LOUD struggled at the start of 2026 and won only two matches across both league phases. At the midseason break they replaced cauanzin with Enzo "tkzin" Zimiani, on loan from KRU Esports. The change worked, as LOUD advanced directly to the Stage 2 playoffs and finished second in the Americas to qualify for Champions.
"After some time off, I've decided to put together a project with people I trust, with Tier 1 experience, plenty of room for growth and, most importantly, the drive to build a strong and competitive team," cauanzin said. Valorant4JP reported that the 21-year-old is planning the project for the 2027 season.
LOUD will take Roberto "erde" Lobos, Lucca "lukxo" Travaioli, David "DaviH" Cruz, Sebastian "Darker" Castro and tkzin to Shanghai, with Romanilly as head coach. Other Americas teams are already reshaping for 2027, and Sentinels allowed Canadian duelist Gurjiwan "Jerrwin" Gill to explore his options on 15 September after a season in which they failed to reach an international event.
