G2 Won Ancient in Overtime and Then Took FURIA's Own Map Thirteen Three to Reach the Fissure Playground Semi-Finals

Fissure Playground 3 is running in Suzhou, China, from 8 to 13 September 2026 with sixteen teams and a prize pool of one million US dollars, split into a 450,000 dollar player share and a 550,000 dollar club share. The group stage was double-elimination best-of-three and the playoffs are single-elimination, with a best-of-five final.
G2 beat FURIA 2-0 in the quarter-finals on 11 September. Ancient went to overtime and finished 16-14. Dust2, which was FURIA's own pick, ended 13-3.
Nikita Martynenko, who plays as HeavyGod, was named player of the match with a 1.43 rating and 86.9 average damage per round. On Dust2 alone he finished with eight kills to one death, a 3.54 rating and 180.5 damage per round. Matus MATYS Simko added 34 kills to 27 deaths for a 1.18 rating.
Gabriel FalleN Toledo posted a 0.51 rating for FURIA, whose best performer was Kaike KSCERATO Cerato at 1.21. G2 face BETBOOM in the semi-finals on 12 September.
