Natus Vincere and Movistar KOI Will Play for Europe's Last League of Legends Worlds Place in Nice on Friday
G2 Esports are already waiting in Sunday's grand final after beating Karmine Corp three games to one in Madrid earlier this month.
Natus Vincere and Movistar KOI will meet at Palais Nikaia in Nice on 18 September 2026 with the LEC's third and final place at the League of Legends World Championship at stake, as the Summer Split playoffs move to France for their last three days.
G2 Esports and Karmine Corp have already qualified for Worlds. G2 beat Karmine Corp 3-1 at Madrid Arena on 6 September to reach the grand final, which will be played on 20 September after an opening ceremony. Karmine Corp dropped into the lower bracket and will play Friday's winner in the lower bracket final on 19 September.
Both of Friday's teams came through five-game series in Berlin. Natus Vincere beat GIANTX 3-2 on 11 September, and Movistar KOI beat Team Vitality 3-2 a day later, according to esports.gg. Vitality and GIANTX are out of contention for Worlds, while Fnatic had already missed out.
French outlet Team-AAA reported on 16 September that doors will open at 3pm and matches will begin at 5pm local time on all three days. Four official co-streamers, Kamet0, Tolkin, Xnapycz and Jankos, will broadcast from the arena, and the LEC XPO fan area will return. The minimum age for spectators is 12, and children aged 12 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The winner of the lower bracket final will face G2 for the Summer Split title. The World Championship will be held in the United States from 15 October to 14 November, with four teams from South Korea already confirmed.
