Aurora Beat NRG Two Nil in Barcelona After Winning a Double Overtime Mirage Nineteen Seventeen

Ismailcan Dortkardes finished with 51 kills across the two maps as the Turkish rifler carried Aurora into the upper bracket final.

Aurora beat NRG 2-0 in an upper bracket semi-final at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 in Barcelona on 18 September 2026, closing out Cache 13-7 before surviving a double overtime finish on Mirage that ended 19-17.

Cache was NRG's own map choice and Aurora took it apart from the counter-terrorist side, with Turkish rifler Ismailcan Dortkardes doing the damage on the attacking rounds that followed.

Mirage was far tighter. Aurora opened 6-0 on the terrorist side, then lost control as Michael Wince dragged NRG in front at 11-7. Dortkardes and Ozgur Eker hauled the series back and Aurora eventually took it in the second extra period.

Dortkardes finished with 51 kills against 37 deaths for a rating of 1.43, the best figure on either side. Wince led NRG with 39 kills and 40 deaths for a rating of 1.09.

Aurora went through to the upper bracket final against Vitality, who had beaten FURIA 2-0 earlier the same day, taking Mirage 13-8 and Dust II 13-5. NRG dropped into the lower bracket to meet MIBR. The eight team event carries a prize pool of 500,000 US dollars, of which 200,000 goes to the winners, and finishes on 20 September 2026.
