MOUZ Came From Behind to Beat Natus Vincere Two One and End Their StarSeries Fall in Barcelona
Captain Aleksi Virolainen said his team needed to step up and find something to get them rolling after a second defeat in two days.
MOUZ knocked Natus Vincere out of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a 2-1 win in Barcelona on 18 September 2026, taking Cache 13-10, losing Inferno 10-13 and then closing the series on Mirage 13-8.
The defeat ended a poor week for the Ukrainian side, who had already been beaten 2-0 by Aurora in their opening match of the event before dropping into the lower bracket.
Captain Aleksi Virolainen said afterwards that the team simply needed to step up and find something to get them rolling, adding that it currently was not looking good.
Ihor Zhdanov was the best player on the losing side with a rating of 1.41, while Dorian Berman top scored for MOUZ on 1.13. Natus Vincere left Barcelona outside the top 15 of the Valve ranking, having missed out on more than 70 ranking points that had been available to them in Spain.
That leaves the Ukrainians two events, ESL Pro League Season 24 and PGL Masters Bucharest, to improve their standing before the next Major cut-off. MOUZ stayed alive in the lower bracket of an event worth 500,000 US dollars that ends on 20 September 2026.
