Korean Support Jun Set to Join Team Heretics for Two Thousand and Twenty Seven After Delaying Military Service
Sheep Esports reported the GIANTX support turned down a renewal offer, following midlaner Jackies in reportedly moving to Heretics as the LEC offseason market heats up.
Korean support Yoon "Jun" Se-jun is set to join Team Heretics for the 2027 LEC season after deciding to postpone his mandatory military service by one year, Sheep Esports reported on 22 September 2026.
Jun is leaving GIANTX, who attempted to keep him with a contract renewal offer that he declined. The transfer was first mentioned publicly by Antonio "Th3Antonio" Espinosa of GIANTX's academy team during a livestream.
According to the report, Jun is not the first Korean player in the LEC to take this route, with Kim "Canna" Chang-dong having made a similar choice. However, both players are now entering their final competitive year before military service, with no option to delay further.
The move follows reports that midlaner Adam "Jackies" Jeřábek will also leave GIANTX for Heretics, meaning the Spanish club has two of its 2027 positions reportedly filled, with top lane, jungle and AD carry still to be decided.
GIANTX could see their entire starting lineup reach free agency, with AD carry Flakked, top laner Oscarinin and jungler ISMA all on contracts that expire in November 2026.
Neither Jun's nor Jackies' moves have been officially announced. Official confirmations are expected once the LEC free agency window opens in November, when a wide range of players across the league become available.
