A Man Who Solved Two Hundred and Eleven Rubik's Cubes on a Pogo Stick Is Among the New Guinness World Records Titles
The 2027 edition of the book was published in September with a nineteen-inch car, an eighty-seven digit underwater memory feat and a six-foot-six horse.
Guinness World Records published its 2027 edition in September 2026, and a run of the titles it contains were publicised in the days that followed.
Among them is Saul Hafting of Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia, who solved 211 Rubik's cubes while bouncing on a pogo stick. He set the mark in 2021 at the age of sixteen, and it was ratified in 2022; the previous record was sixty-five. Hafting, now twenty-one, said he had not been sure how long his record would stand and that holding it for many years was very satisfying.
Other entries include the narrowest driveable car, a rebuilt Fiat Panda measuring 19.76 inches or 50.2 centimetres built by Andrea Marazzi of Italy; the most decimal digits memorised underwater, 87 by Christian Schafer of Germany; and the most foot-juggling spins of a table in thirty seconds, 77 by Emma Phillips of New Zealand.
The book also lists the largest hairdryer, built by Ruth Amos of the United Kingdom at five feet nine inches long, and the tallest living horse, a Shire named Hugo in England at six feet six inches. Collections recognised include 13,201 frogs held by Susan Burgos of California and 4,550 My Little Ponies held by Miranda Worby.
