Team Falcons PH Won the Longest Game of the MPL Philippines Season to Draw Level With Team Liquid PH
The deciding game against Aurora lasted 39 minutes 37 seconds, while Team Liquid PH beat ONIC Philippines for a fourth straight time.
Team Falcons PH beat Aurora Gaming PH 2-1 at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City on 13 September 2026, winning a deciding game that lasted 39 minutes 37 seconds, the longest of MPL Philippines Season 18.
Dugout.ph reported that it was the fifth-longest game in the league's history, three seconds short of fourth place. Falcons settled it with a Lord fight in which they eliminated three Aurora players, including Dominic "Domeng" Del Mundo. Falcons had won the first game in about 10 minutes with a 15-1 kill advantage before Aurora levelled the series.
The win lifted Falcons to 6-1, level with Team Liquid PH, who beat ONIC Philippines 2-0 on 12 September. KarlTzy went 9-1-7 across the series on Paquito, and Liquid conceded only one kill in the two games, according to Rebanse.
It was Liquid's sixth consecutive win and their fourth straight victory over ONIC dating back to last season, leaving ONIC third on 5-2. Aurora dropped to 3-4 and are tied for fifth with TNC.
Week 5 begins on 18 September, with Liquid facing TNC Pro Team. The top six teams qualify for the playoffs in November, and the two finalists will represent the Philippines at the M8 World Championship in Turkey in January 2027.
