Natus Vincere Survived Five Games Against GIANTX in Berlin to Move One Series From a World Championship Place
The elimination quarter-final went the distance, with jungler Rhilech named most valuable player on a night that ended GIANTX's season hopes.
Natus Vincere beat GIANTX 3-2 in an elimination quarter-final of the 2026 League of Legends European Championship Summer playoffs, played in Berlin on 11 September.
The series went to a deciding fifth game. Enes Rhilech Ucan, NAVI's jungler, was named most valuable player after a strong showing across all five. GIANTX's mid-laner Adam Jackies Jerabek was on the losing side.
NAVI now face the winner of the other elimination quarter-final between Movistar KOI and Team Vitality, with a place at the World Championship on the line. The LEC Season Finals are split across three cities, with the upper rounds already played in Madrid, the elimination quarter-finals in Berlin and the remaining rounds in Nice, where the final will be held at the Palais Nikaia on 20 September.
Six teams entered the playoffs for three World Championship places. G2 Esports and Karmine Corp have already qualified, G2 for a tenth World Championship in eleven years and Karmine Corp for the first time. GIANTX are now out of contention and must look to the Demacia Cup Global Invitational.
