Team Secret Let Their Valorant Captain STYRON Explore Offers as Head Coach Spin Prepared to Leave

Both joined the Philippine-based organisation midway through 2026, but Team Secret still finished 13th to 16th in the VCT Pacific league.

Philippine-based Team Secret allowed in-game leader Tidus "STYRON" Goh to explore options on 14 September 2026. A day later, VLR.gg reported that head coach Peter "Spin" Bradford is set to leave the Valorant team when his contract expires.

Both joined midway through the 2026 VCT Pacific season, before Stage 2. Team Secret went 1-4 in the Stage 2 group stage and were eliminated in the Play-Ins, finishing 13th-16th in the Pacific region. STYRON arrived from XLB, the academy team of Bilibili Gaming.

STYRON said he was fully confident he could play and call at the highest level. Spin said he was looking for "an ambitious organisation that's serious about competing at international events", and that he preferred to stay in Asia-Pacific or China but was open to all regions.

The pair previously worked together at Motiv in Challengers Southeast Asia. Sheepesports noted in June that Team Secret had never qualified for an international Valorant LAN, such as Masters or Champions, since the current VCT format began.

Further changes are possible, with the contracts of natz and Sylvan also expiring this off-season. Zeus and kellyS are signed until 2027 and 2028 respectively. Elsewhere in Southeast Asia, Indonesia's Rex Regum Qeon allowed head coach Jovi to explore options on 14 September.
