The Buffalo Bills will host the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football on 17 September 2026 in the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Kick-off is at 8.15pm Eastern Time, which is 8.15am on Friday in Singapore and Malaysia, and the game is on Prime Video.
Both teams are 1-0. The Bills won 36-31 at Houston on 13 September, with Josh Allen completing 20 of 29 passes for 334 yards and two touchdowns and running for two more, according to the team's website. Greg Rousseau forced a fumble on the final drive to secure the win.
Detroit beat the New Orleans Saints 31-30 in overtime at Ford Field after the Saints came back from 21 points down. Jared Goff threw the winning 5-yard touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown early in overtime, and Jahmyr Gibbs ran 29 times for 156 yards, CBS Detroit reported.
NFL.com said the Lions face a short-week test on the offensive line, with right tackle Blake Miller and left guard Christian Mahogany missing practice on Tuesday. Over the last 50 regular-season games, the two teams have 36 wins each.
