ATF Replaced DM at Team Yandex and Will Make His Debut at PGL Wallachia in Bucharest on Saturday
The offlaner was left without a team when Team Falcons disbanded their Dota 2 roster after finishing seventh to eighth at The International.
Team Yandex signed Ammar Al-Assaf, who plays under the name ATF, as their new offlaner on 17 September 2026, replacing Dmitry Dorokhin, known as DM, two days before the start of PGL Wallachia Season 9 in Bucharest.
Al-Assaf will make his debut for the organisation at the 1 million dollar tournament, which opens on 19 September. He was without a team after Team Falcons disbanded their Dota 2 squad following a seventh to eighth place finish at The International 2026.
The revised line-up has Alimzhan Islambekov, who plays as watson, in the carry position, Ilya Chirtsov as midlaner, Al-Assaf in the offlane, Martin Sazdov, known as Saksa, on soft support and Arman Orazbayev, who competes as Malady, on hard support. Alexander Litvinenko remains the coach.
Team Yandex finished third at The International 2026 and have kept the core of that side together. Sazdov won the tournament in 2022. Announcing the signing, the club joked that they could not come up with a better way to hand over what they called the watson combo to their new offlaner.
The move is one of the more prominent in a reshuffle that has followed The International, with Team Spirit, Team Liquid, PARIVISION and BetBoom all yet to confirm their own new line-ups. Team Yandex are among the 16 teams entered in Bucharest.
