Turkish Sentinel Player Hiro Was Reported to Be Joining Team Heretics for the Twenty Twenty Seven Valorant Season
Neither the organisation nor the player has confirmed the move, and no contract length, transfer fee or debut date has been disclosed.
Emirhan Kat, the Turkish player known as hiro, is set to join Team Heretics for the 2027 Valorant Champions Tour season, according to a report published by Sheep Esports on 17 September 2026 and based on unnamed sources.
Neither Team Heretics nor the player had made any announcement at the time of the report. No contract length, transfer fee or debut date was disclosed, and it was not clear whether the agreement had been signed or remained verbal.
Kat came to prominence in 2024, when Fnatic brought him in as a stand-in for Leo Jannesson. He helped that side win the second European stage of the Champions Tour and played at the Valorant world championship later the same year.
The reported move raises questions about how Team Heretics would build their line-up. Kat plays mainly on sentinel agents, a role that overlaps with benjyfishy, and a five player roster limit means somebody would have to move position. The organisation has not yet named an in game leader for next season or confirmed which of its current players are staying.
European rosters are in flux across the off season. Sheep Esports has also reported that sato and kiNgg are set to join G2 Esports for 2027 and that Marti and Nami are expected to renew with Gentle Mates. The 2026 season closes with Valorant Champions, which begins in Shanghai on 24 September.
