Evo France 2026 Brings Eight Fighting Games to Nice on October 9 With a 225,000 Euro Prize Pool
Street Fighter 6 leads the entrant count again, and MARVEL Tokon and Avatar Legends make their Evo France debuts. Registration closes on 14 September.
Evo France returns to the Palais des Expositions in Nice on 9-11 October, with eight titles and a 225,000 euro prize pool. It is the biggest fighting game event left on the 2026 calendar after Evo Las Vegas in June.
The line-up
Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls, 2XKO, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
MARVEL Tokon and Avatar Legends are new to Evo France. Neither has a defending champion at this event, and neither has the years of tournament data that back a confident price on the other six.
The published entrant leaderboard runs Street Fighter 6 first, then Tekken 8, MARVEL Tokon, 2XKO, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Avatar Legends, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Fatal Fury.
How the money splits
The 225,000 euro pool is distributed proportionally by entrant count per title, so the biggest bracket takes the biggest share. First place in the largest event is worth up to 20,000 euros; eighth place in a smaller one can be as little as 203 euros.
That structure rewards reading registration numbers, not just form. Early-bird entry closed on 29 July and general registration runs to 14 September, with badge pickup on 8 October, so the final field sizes are not set yet.
Who is defending
From Evo France 2025 in Nice: Leshar (DRX) in Street Fighter 6, Arslan Ash (Twisted Minds) in Tekken 8, Tiger_Pop (ONi Global) in Guilty Gear -Strive-, Xiao Hai (Kuaishou Gaming) in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Usagi in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
Evo Las Vegas in June went to MenaRD in Street Fighter 6 and Arslan Ash again in Tekken 8, which makes Ash the only player holding both major Evo titles in the same game heading into Nice.
Organisers have added roughly 1,000 seats a day over 2025, when the event drew 17,900 visitors and 3,500 competitors from 93 nationalities, with Street Fighter 6 alone passing 1,600 entrants.
