Zandvoort's last race
The Dutch Grand Prix returned to the calendar in 2021 on the back of Verstappen's rise, and it leaves it in 2026. Ending on a race the home driver retired from, in a season where he has yet to win, is the sort of symmetry a circuit does not choose.
The 2026 season also runs the sprint format at six rounds, the Dutch Grand Prix among them.
