Evo France 2026: DualKevin wins Street Fighter 6 after bracket reset as JeonDDing takes Tekken 8 title
DualKevin beat Tachikawa after a bracket reset to win Street Fighter 6 at Evo France in Nice, while Korea's JeonDDing swept LowHigh 3-0 for the Tekken 8 crown.
Evo France 2026 wrapped up in Nice on Sunday, 11 October, with American player DualKevin winning Street Fighter 6 and South Korea's JeonDDing claiming Tekken 8. The three-day event at the Palais des Expos de Nice, from 9 to 11 October, drew more than 1,000 entrants for Street Fighter 6 alone and nearly 1,000 for Tekken 8, making them the two biggest brackets of the weekend.
DualKevin needs a reset to beat Tachikawa
DualKevin, playing Rashid, reached the grand final from the winners' side. He beat Problem X 3-1 in the winners' semi-final and then edged Punk 3-2 in a tense winners' final.
His opponent was Japan's Tachikawa on C. Viper, who took the long route. After a 3-0 loss to Punk in the winners' semi-finals, Tachikawa won three straight elimination sets in the top eight, including a 3-2 win over Punk in the losers' final to avenge that defeat.
Tachikawa carried that momentum into the first set of the grand final, winning it 3-1 to force a bracket reset. DualKevin regrouped and took the deciding set 3-2 to lift the trophy. The win also earns him a place at Capcom Cup 13, the Capcom Pro Tour's season finale.
Street Fighter 6 top finishers:
- DualKevin (Rashid)
- Tachikawa (C. Viper)

In Tekken 8, JeonDDing did not drop a set. Using Eddy, he swept Rangchu 3-0 in the winners' semi-finals, then beat fellow Korean LowHigh 3-2 in a five-game winners' final.
LowHigh, on Bryan, fought back through the losers' bracket, beating ULSAN 3-0 in the losers' final, but JeonDDing was in control in the rematch, winning the grand final 3-0 without the need for a reset.
It is JeonDDing's first Evo title and the first Evo title for his team, Vitality. It also makes up for last year's edition in Nice, where he finished as runner-up.
