Gen.G Win PGS 9 in Shanghai to Close Circuit 3 With Circuit 4 the Last Chance for a Direct PGC Seed
Gen.G took $102,000 and 120 PGS Points ahead of T1 and Team Falcons. Only the top eight in annual PGS Points after PGS 12 go straight to the Global Championship in Istanbul.
Gen.G won the PGS 9 Series Final in Shanghai on 23 August, closing out Circuit 3 of the PUBG Global Series. The win was worth $102,000 and 120 PGS Points from a $300,000 pool contested by 24 teams.

Made in Thailand were sixth, Virtus.pro seventh and The Expendables eighth. Grand Finals MVP went to TanVuu of Vietnam, playing for The Expendables, worth $10,000.
Geekay taking three chicken dinners and still finishing fourth is the clearest illustration of how this format works: WWCDs are worth 10 placement points each, but consistent top-five finishing across 15 matches beats a spiky kill-heavy run.
Why Circuit 4 is the one that counts
The event ran a Survival Stage of 16 teams over five matches into a 15-match Grand Finals from 21-23 August, with a $1,000 bonus per chicken dinner.
The 2026 season is four circuits of three series each - 12 series worth $2 million in total. Circuits 3 and 4 pay double the PGS Points of Circuits 1 and 2, and only the top 16 in each event score at all.
The stake is direct entry to the PUBG Global Championship in Istanbul on 1-13 December: the top eight in the final PGS standings after PGS 12 go straight in, with the remaining 24 places coming through Regional Series. No seeds are locked yet - Circuit 4 has not been played.
Circuit 4 covers PGS 10, PGS 11 and the PGS 12 Series Final, worth $100,000, $100,000 and $300,000 respectively. Dates and venue have not been confirmed by PUBG Esports.
