PGL Masters Bucharest final: Nemiga face FURIA after stunning Vitality in semi-finals

Nemiga swept Vitality and FURIA edged MOUZ in Friday's semi-finals. The best-of-five grand final in Bucharest starts at 7pm Malaysia time today.

Nemiga and FURIA will contest the grand final of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 today (Saturday, 31 October). The best-of-five decider is scheduled for 12:00 CET, which is 7pm in Malaysia (MYT, UTC+8). Both finalists came through Friday's semi-finals in the Romanian capital. Nemiga swept Team Vitality 2-0, and FURIA came from behind on maps to beat MOUZ 2-1. Our earlier coverage ended at the quarter-finals. This piece covers what has happened since: the two semi-finals and the line-up for the final day.

Nemiga shock Vitality in two maps

The biggest result of the week came in the first semi-final on 30 October. Nemiga took Cache 13-8, then edged Dust2 13-11 to knock out a Vitality side that had come back from a map down to beat NAVI in the quarter-finals a day earlier.

Nikita "robo" Dushin led Nemiga, according to HLTV's match report. He finished the series 46-27 with 101 average damage per round and a 1.52 rating, getting more than 20 kills on each map. syph0 (1.17) and KaiR0N- (1.12) gave him strong support. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was Vitality's top performer with a 1.23 rating. Vitality played without apEX, with mezii calling the strategies in his place.

HLTV notes the win lifts Nemiga from 12th to 10th in Valve's regional standings. They have climbed 13 places since their first match in Bucharest.

FURIA edge MOUZ in three maps

The second semi-final went the distance. FURIA won Dust2 13-6, MOUZ levelled by taking Mirage 13-9, and the Brazilian organisation closed it out 13-9 on Cache, Field Level Media reported.

Danil "molodoy" Golubenko was the best player on the server. He went 56-37 with a 1.34 rating, and Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato (1.24) gave FURIA a second strong threat. For MOUZ, xertioN, torzsi and PR all rated just above 1.00, but none of them could swing the decider.

FURIA arrive in good form. Hotspawn notes that they won the Thunderpick World Championship on 18 October, which ended a title drought of almost 11 months. Their line-up is Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, yuurih, YEKINDAR, KSCERATO and molodoy.

How both teams reached the final

Neither finalist had an easy route. Field Level Media reports that both needed all five rounds of the 16-team Swiss stage to reach the single-elimination playoffs. Nemiga were 1-2 at one point before winning their way through. In the quarter-finals on 29 October, Nemiga beat FUT Esports 2-0 and FURIA beat BetBoom Team 2-0, according to ESTNN.

The two teams were in opposite halves of the bracket and have not met at this event. Hotspawn's preview points to Dust2 and Ancient as Nemiga's strongest maps in Bucharest and suggests Mirage may favour FURIA, but the map veto will decide what gets played.
