Eighteen Teams Are Chasing Eight Global Finals Places at the Free Fire World Series South East Asia Fall in Surabaya
Five Indonesian, five Thai, five Vietnamese and three Malaysian sides are in the field, with the grand finals set for the nineteenth and twentieth of September.
The Free Fire World Series South East Asia 2026 Fall reaches its conclusion in Surabaya, Indonesia, on 19 and 20 September 2026, with eight places at the Global Finals at stake.
Eighteen teams entered the competition, which began on 14 August. Five come from Indonesia, five from Thailand, five from Vietnam and three from Malaysia. The Indonesian representatives are Bigetron by Vitality, Evos Divine, MBR Omega, Onic and RRQ Kazu.
The tournament is run in three phases. In the first, from 14 to 23 August, all eighteen teams accumulated standings points over two weeks, with the top twelve advancing. The second and third phases run through September, closing with the grand finals weekend in Surabaya. The eight highest-placed teams go through to the Free Fire World Series Global Finals in November 2026.
The regional circuit has not been without controversy elsewhere in mobile esports. In May 2026 the PUBG Master Series banned four ZEN Esports players in the Asia-Pacific region until the end of 2027 for attempted match-fixing in a match played on 10 May, and prohibited the use of the ZEN Esports name and logo for the same period. A fifth player was banned for 28 months for submitting forged registration documents, and his team's results, qualifications, prize money and points for that phase were cancelled.
