A New Singapore Org Has Taken Two Thais, an Indonesian and a Malaysian and Southeast Asian Dota Starts Again
Xipto Esports formed on 31 August out of the wreckage of REKONIX, and the region's tier-one landscape has been rebuilt in three weeks.
Southeast Asian Dota has been taken apart and put back together inside three weeks.
On 31 August a new Singapore-based organisation, Xipto Esports, announced a roster of Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, Muhammad "InYourDream" Rizky, Saieful "Fbz" Ilham, Worawit "Q" Mekchai and Chon Kien "Oli" Chan. Two Thai players, an Indonesian and a Malaysian, all veterans of the regional circuit.
It exists because REKONIX disbanded on 19 August, releasing jikroy, InYourDream, Fbz, Dalul, Varizh and coach MinD_ContRoL. Team Nemesis had already announced a Southeast Asian roster on 13 August with JaCkky, Ken, Jabz, Jhocam and NARMAN.

Cr1t- announced an indefinite competitive break on 9 September to stream. Vici Gaming disbanded on 16 August. Virtus.Pro dropped six players on 24 August, LGD let six contracts expire the same day, and Xtreme Gaming benched four on 4 September.
The International 2026 ran 13 to 23 August in Shanghai and was won by Team Spirit, their third Aegis.
