Two Time International Champion Skiter Replaced Nightfall at Aurora Three Days Before PGL Wallachia in Bucharest
Malaysian offlaner Ws stays in a lineup that reached three grand finals this year, but Indonesian midlaner Mikoto will miss the Romanian event.
Aurora Gaming signed two-time The International champion Oliver "Skiter" Lepko as their carry on 16 September 2026 and moved Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko to the bench, three days before the start of PGL Wallachia Season 9 in Bucharest.
Skiter won The International in 2022 with Tundra Esports and in 2025 with Team Falcons, who left Dota 2 on 7 September. Hotspawn reported that he is the first member of the Falcons core to find a new team since TI 2026. Nightfall had played for Aurora since February 2025.
Aurora's lineup is now Skiter, Indonesian midlaner Rafli Fathur "Mikoto" Rahman, Malaysian offlaner Chung "Ws" Wei Shen, Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov and Oleh "Kaori" Medvedok. The team reached three grand finals this year, at DreamLeague Season 28, PGL Wallachia Season 8 and DreamLeague Season 29, without winning any of them. At TI 2026 they finished between ninth and 13th after defeats by Team Liquid and BetBoom Team, GosuGamers reported.
Mikoto will miss the Bucharest event for personal reasons, and Macedonian midlaner Stojkov will stand in, according to Hotspawn and GosuGamers. Aurora confirmed on 1 September that Ws would stay with the team.
PGL Wallachia Season 9 runs from 19 to 27 September at PGL Studios in Bucharest, with 16 teams and a US$1,000,000 prize pool, including US$300,000 for the winners. A Swiss group stage will be followed by double-elimination playoffs and a best-of-five grand final.
