PMPL Malaysia Fall Grand Finals Run Three Days From Friday With Fifty Thousand Dollars and PMGC Points at Stake

Sixteen of the twenty league teams play eighteen maps across the weekend. The prize matters less than the points, which feed the Southeast Asian ladder to the global championship.

The PUBG Mobile Pro League Malaysia 2026 Fall grand finals run from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August, eighteen maps across three days, with the top sixteen of the twenty league teams and a 50,000 US dollar prize pool - roughly RM236,500.

The structure

Element Detail
League teams 20 (11 direct invites, 9 from the PMNC MY qualifier)
Grand finalists Top 16
Format Squad TPP, 18 matches over 3 days
Prize pool US$50,000
Dates 28-30 August 2026 (MYT)

The prize is not the point

Placement here feeds Malaysia's standing on the PMGC 2026 Southeast Asia points ladder rather than handing out a direct championship slot. That is the important distinction for anyone reading the weekend as a knockout: a team can win the finals and still need Spring results to hold up, and a team can finish fourth and be better placed on cumulative points than the winner.

Spring 2026 was taken by Maqna Esports Club, with a 12,250 US dollar top prize, and Team 52 finished runner-up.

Where the ladder leads

PMGC 2026 is scheduled for 24 November to 14 December in Turkiye, offline, with a reported three million US dollar prize pool and five slots allocated to Southeast Asia. The host city was not confirmed at the time of writing.

Battle royale finals reward consistency in a way series formats do not. Eighteen maps is enough that a single hot game rarely decides anything, and placement points across the weekend usually separate the field more cleanly than kill counts.

Thailand plays the same weekend

PMPL Thailand's Fall grand finals also begin on 28 August, sixteen teams over eighteen matches for 1.5 million baht, with the top three advancing to the PUBG Mobile Global Open Season 2 Southeast Asia Finals. Two national finals running in parallel across the same three days.
