Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev Will Lead Team Europe Against Team World at the Laver Cup in London
Tickets for an open practice day at The O2 on 24 September went on sale on 15 September, with proceeds going to the LTA Tennis Foundation.
Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev will headline Team Europe at the Laver Cup at The O2 in London from 25 to 27 September 2026, with organisers announcing details of an open practice day on 15 September.
Team Europe, captained by Yannick Noah with Tim Henman as vice-captain, also includes Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Mensik and Casper Ruud. Zverev is ranked second in the world and Alcaraz third, according to the Laver Cup website.
Team World is captained by Andre Agassi, with Pat Rafter as vice-captain. The squad is led by world number four Ben Shelton and also features Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Learner Tien, Alexander Bublik and Francisco Cerundolo.
Team World have won three of the last four editions, including a 15-9 victory in San Francisco in 2025. Team Europe's players hold a 78-56 lead in career singles meetings with the Team World squad, with Alcaraz 19-2 against his opponents, although the World players lead 6-3 in previous Laver Cup singles meetings between the two groups.
The open practice day will take place on 24 September, with Team World practising from noon and Team Europe from 1pm. Tickets cost 20 pounds before fees and went on sale on 15 September, with proceeds going to the LTA Tennis Foundation, and more than 2,000 young people from London will attend as guests.
