Ten Teams Play for Two World Championship Berths in the Call of Duty Mobile Garena Qualifier Playoffs This Weekend
Group stage finished on 23 August. The playoffs run Saturday and Sunday evening Malaysian time for a twenty thousand dollar pool and a flight to Mexico City in December.
The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026 Garena Qualifier reaches its playoffs on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, running 18:00 to 23:00 GMT+8 on both days. Ten teams, a 20,000 US dollar prize pool and two World Championship berths.

Who is playing
The field spans the Garena territories: Thailand's As soon As possible and Freeslot; the Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines region through Rival Esports, ELEVATE, Alula SC and Vizualz SKAERI; Indonesia's Vizualz Esports and EL Tantrum; and ChangeWorld and WUDAO from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
Two berths across ten teams is a hard cut. Nothing but a grand final appearance guarantees anything, which usually produces a more aggressive weekend than a qualifier with four or six slots.
Where the winners go
The CODM World Championship finals run 4-6 December 2026 in Mexico City - the first time the event has been held in Mexico. Two of the teams playing in the Southeast Asian evening this weekend will be there.
A crowded weekend for the region
The CODM playoffs share the calendar with the PMPL Malaysia and PMPL Thailand grand finals, MPL Malaysia week three and the resumption of FFWS SEA in Surabaya. Five separate Southeast Asian mobile competitions run across the same three days, which is a reasonable snapshot of how dense the regional mobile circuit has become in 2026.
