Worlds 2026 survival day: T1 meet CTBC as Team Secret Whales fight elimination, Malaysia times

Round 3 of the Worlds 2026 Swiss stage concludes on Monday in Allen, Texas, with three-time defending champions T1 facing CTBC Flying Oyster and two teams set to be eliminated. For fans in Malaysia, the action starts at 1am on Tuesday, 27 October, and the day carries a strong Asia-Pacific interest, with both LCP representatives in the Swiss stage involved, including Vietnamese-rooted Team Secret Whales, who are fighting to stay in the tournament.

The schedule in Malaysia time (Tuesday, 27 October)

• 1am: CTBC Flying Oyster vs T1 (best-of-one, 1-1 pool)
• 2am: Bilibili Gaming vs Karmine Corp (best-of-one, 1-1 pool)
• 3am: LOS vs Team Secret Whales (best-of-three, elimination)
• 4am: Team Liquid Alienware vs Anyone's Legend (best-of-three, elimination)

These are scheduled start times; the later matches can begin later if earlier games run long. Malaysia is 13 hours ahead of Texas, which is on Central Daylight Time.

T1 and CTBC: a best-of-one with no safety net

T1 arrived in Texas chasing a fourth consecutive world title after winning in 2023, 2024 and 2025. They opened with a win over LOS but lost to Dplus KIA in Round 2, when Dplus KIA came back to win the game. CTBC Flying Oyster, runners-up in the LCP's third split, beat Team Liquid Alienware in Round 1 before losing to Movistar KOI.

The winner moves to 2-1 and will need one more series win to reach the quarter-finals. The loser drops to 1-2 and will have to win two best-of-three series in a row to survive. In the other 1-1 match, Bilibili Gaming, who beat Team Liquid Alienware after losing their opener to Movistar KOI, meet Karmine Corp, whose Round 1 win over Anyone's Legend was followed by a loss to LYON.

Team Secret Whales play for survival

Team Secret Whales won all three LCP splits in 2026 and arrived as the league's top seed, with 18-year-old jungler Hizto among their stars, but their first Worlds week has been difficult: they lost to LYON in Round 1 and to Invictus Gaming in Round 2. Their opponents, LOS, the CBLOL Split 2 champions from Brazil, are also 0-2 after defeats to T1 and G2 Esports. The best-of-three loser finishes 0-3 and goes home; the winner stays alive at 1-2.

The final match of the night may be the most surprising pairing. Anyone's Legend came in as the LPL's top seed, yet lost to Karmine Corp on the opening day, when all four LPL sides were beaten, and then to Top Esports. Team Liquid Alienware lost to CTBC Flying Oyster and then to Bilibili Gaming in a close Round 2 game. One of them will be out of Worlds by sunrise in Malaysia.

What is already settled

Gen.G and Dplus KIA are through to the quarter-finals at 3-0 after Sunday's qualification series. Rounds 4 and 5 follow from Wednesday, 28 October, in Texas, with six more quarter-final spots still available. The knockout stage begins on 3 November.
