Team Spirit Took the Mid Season Cup Four Three and Became the First Team From Outside Southeast Asia to Win One
A best-of-seven grand final in Paris against Yangon Galacticos ended a run in which every Mobile Legends world or mid-season title had gone to the region that invented the scene.
Team Spirit beat Yangon Galacticos 4-3 in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 grand final and became the first team from outside Southeast Asia to win one of Mobile Legends' two biggest annual international championships. The tournament was held in Paris, with a group stage from 22 to 26 July and a knockout stage from 29 July to 1 August.

Team Spirit went through both the Malaysian and the Indonesian representatives on the way to the final. Yangon Galacticos knocked out the Philippine side. Between them, the two finalists eliminated the region's three deepest runs.
Why it is a structural result and not a fluke
Mobile Legends competitive play has been a Southeast Asian monopoly at the top for most of its history, on the reasonable grounds that the player base, the leagues and the infrastructure are all there. The Philippines alone had taken six consecutive world titles up to the M7 World Championship in Jakarta in January, where Aurora Gaming Philippines beat Alter Ego Esports 4-0.
A non-regional winner of the mid-season event does not overturn that. It does mean the international field has closed enough that a seven-game final is now a real possibility rather than a formality, and the 4-3 scoreline says the same thing.
