The Play-In Room Seats Three Hundred and the Final Seats Nineteen Thousand and Both Are Worlds
The League of Legends World Championship spreads across three American venues of wildly different sizes from 15 October.
The 2026 League of Legends World Championship runs from 15 October to 14 November across three American cities, and the venues could hardly be less alike.
The play-in stage is at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, capacity 300. Four teams, double elimination.
The Swiss stage, quarter-finals and semi-finals move to the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, capacity 8,100. Sixteen teams play best-of-fives in the Swiss stage and the top eight go into a single-elimination bracket.
The final is at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, capacity 19,000.
Nineteen teams are in the tournament. Regional allocation is four each to the LCK and LPL, three each to the LEC, LCS and LCP, and two to the CBLOL. Fearless Draft is used throughout.
The LCP was the first region to finish its qualification, between 22 and 29 August. Its three are Team Secret Whales, MVK Esports and CTBC Flying Oyster.
American venues mean the whole month runs overnight for Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. A Brooklyn final on 14 November starts on the morning of the fifteenth in this part of the world.
