Counter-Strike Brings Its Major to Singapore in November and Not One Asian Team Sits Inside the World Top Fifteen
Spirit, Falcons and FURIA lead both the HLTV and Valve rankings. The highest-placed Asian side is Mongolian and sits sixteenth on Valve's list.
The second Counter-Strike Major of 2026 is staged in Singapore from 25 November to 13 December, with the final stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang. The rankings that will decide who plays in it contain no Asian team inside the world top fifteen.

| 10 | FaZe (316) | G2 (1674) |
The highest-ranked Asian team is The MongolZ of Mongolia, sixteenth on Valve's global list on 1,558 points. There is no Southeast Asian team anywhere near either table.
Why that is the story
A Major is being brought to Southeast Asia for the first time, into a 12,000-seat arena, at a moment when the region has no competitive representation at the top of the game. The commercial case for Singapore is the audience, the venue and the travel hub - not a home team. Malaysian and Singaporean fans will fill a room to watch European and South American sides.

Following it on Playdash
Playdash prices Counter-Strike 2 with series winner, map handicap, correct series score and total maps, plus per-map markets on map winner, round handicap, total rounds, pistol rounds, first blood and race to a set round. Major outrights, group qualification and to-reach-playoffs markets open through the qualifying cycle, and Singapore's local hours mean the final stage plays out in Southeast Asian afternoon and evening with in-play pricing round by round.
