BLAST Bounty Season 2 Reaches Malta LAN Finals With FaZe and Spirit Set to Clash

BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026 has reached its Malta LAN finals, with the top eight of 32 teams battling for the trophy at the BLAST Arena Studios after an online stage that ran from July 21 to 26.

The tournament arrives on the heels of the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, where Nikola "NiKo" Kovac lifted his first Major trophy, and doubles as fans' first extended look at the new patch, which brings back the map Cache alongside changes to C4 explosions.

In the LAN finals so far, Spirit swept past Liquid 2-0 and FaZe edged past TheMongolZ 2-1, while Astralis beat paiN 2-1 and MOUZ got past 3DMAX 2-1, setting up an Aug. 1 semifinal slate of FaZe vs. Spirit and Astralis vs. MOUZ.

BLAST's signature Draft Show format let the bottom 16 "underdog" teams choose their bounty-holding opponents from the top half, with any team that scores an upset splitting the bounty between their prize winnings and a new bounty of their own, a mechanic that has already produced several notable results through the online stage.

With FaZe and Spirit, two of the tournament's strongest rosters, colliding in the semifinals, expect plenty of movement across Playdash's BLAST Bounty Season 2 match-winner and outright title markets as the Malta finals reach their climax.
