The pair took the white gondolino in thirty minutes fifty-one seconds after a clash of oars at the turning post.
The Regata Storica was rowed on the Grand Canal in Venice on 6 September 2026. The day opens with a costumed water parade that re-enacts the welcome given to Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus, on her return to the city in 1489, and closes with the racing.

Samuele Smerghetto and Alessandro Nardin were second, four seconds behind, after a clash of oars at the paletto, the turning post. It was reported as the third Regata Storica win for Zaniol and Trabuio.
